Course Description:
If you are planning on earning the prestigious Certified Regulatory Compliance Manager (CRCM) designation from the Institute of Certified Bankers, this course is a comprehensive and convenient way to prepare. This eight-week online course will use the ABA Reference Guide to Regulatory Compliance (RGRC). Each week, you will read one section from the manual and complete quizzes to test your knowledge. The quizzes from the RGRC have been used in the online course and the instant feedback from them will help you decide what topics you need to focus on. There will be a discussion board for each week's assignments so you can ask questions from a qualified mentor as well as review and discuss other student's questions and comments. The course will remain open until the next Certified Regulatory Compliance Manager (CRCM) exam, so if you decide to sit for the exam, you can continue to practice with the quizzes and exams.

Audience:
This course is designed for Compliance Managers, Department Managers and Staff, Product Managers, Retail/Branch Banking Managers, and ideally for those preparing for the Certified Regulatory Compliance Manager (CRCM) Exam.

Certified Regulatory Compliance Manager© (CRCM): applicable to financial services professionals whose primary function and expertise focus on the application, implementation and maintenance of relevant federal and state regulatory requirements as they relate to a financial services organization's business.

Textbook:
This course uses the ABA Reference Guide to Regulatory Compliance, 15th edition, published by the American Bankers Association, 2007. The textbook will be provided to participants and the cost is included in the tuition.

Format:
The ABA Online Review Course for the CRCM Examination is an 8-week class. Participants will have access to a new lesson at the online course site each Friday and then have until the following Sunday (10 days) to complete it. Each lesson typically includes reading a chapter and completing a self-check quiz online. Lessons may be completed anytime during the week. Typically, participants will need to log on to the Internet two times during the week, and may do so whenever and wherever it is most convenient to them. Instructors are available to answer questions and to evaluate and offer suggestions on the participant's assignments.
