Oregon Bankers Association - Independent Community Banks of Oregon

Correspondence Study

Rapid changes in the financial services industry demand, now more than ever, that you pursue additional bank training to achieve your career goals. OBA Correspondence Study Programs offer a flexible enrollment schedule, "up-to-the-minute" training information and professional banking instruction, making it one of the most effective ways to enhance your banking knowledge.  This assisted self-paced study option lets you decide when class is in session!

When enrolling in an OBA correspondence course, the OBA will provide the textbook for the course and a set of practical exercises to periodically complete and return for grading. Completing all the exercises, taking the midterm and final examinations under the direction of a bank supervisor and receiving a passing grade qualifies the student for AIB credit. Most courses receive three AIB credit hours except where noted.
